Just thought I'd post a wee snippet about a short animation I co-directed earlier this year. It was animated using a stop-motion technique where each frame is painted on the wall and photographed frame-by-frame.
Stupidly we made this in March and as most of you will remember - it was bloody freezing!
It was produced to highlight the dangers of carrying knives and the consequences if they are used!

Knife crime is a serious issue - please check it out and spread the word!

......Premiere of 'The Illusionist'..

If you guys didn't already know - the film I worked on for what seemed like sooooooo long finally had its world premiere on Wednesday 16th June at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh. I was lucky enough to attend this fantastic event along with famous folk like Sir Patrick Stewart, Britt Ekland and Sir Sean Connery (who pinched one of my chips at the after show party)! It was an amazing night, not only to be at the premiere and the party afterwards, but to witness the audiences response to the film!
Overall it was a fab night - one I will never forget!

Hi guys! I have been doing a little experimenting with my camera. I recently found out about light graffiti - check it out! There is some really cool stuff out there, however what I've been doing wouldn't fit into that category just yet!!

It is quite a challenge! Anyway, this is what I have achieved so far......not much I know, but I am learning!

Oh my god! I have been in Seoul now for what feels like a lifetime. I am currently working over here which is an experience I can tell you! It’s crazy over here!! I thought I was bad for gadgets? Everyone on the subway is watching television on their little mobile phones, or playing Nintendo DS – it’s madness! (and that’s saying something coming from me).

Everything is weird here – from the Supermarkets to the roads to the food, fashion......blah! blah! Blah! It has been a culture shock and that’s no lie! I haven’t really had too many chances to get out and explore – too busy!! Although I have ventured out to a few places which have to be said are beautiful! This country has so much culture and tradition! It’s bloody hot here too! My god!!

Anyway, I have taken a few photos on my travels and I will share them with you......!

......Oh my god, I'm in Seoul..

Oh my god! I cannot believe I am in Seoul. I have never ventured to Asia before - Whooaaahhh!!!! It has to be one of the craziest places I have ever visited! I thought London was bad - my god the cars do not respect pedestrians at all!! You need eyes in your backside, bloody hell!!
I have been out here for roughly 3 weeks now and It's getting really busy at work!
I actually had enough energy to go sightseeing this Sunday and these photos are the result. We went to Changgyeonggung Palace - which was beautiful and HUGE! Then we visited the museum of Korea. We had a good day!

Well tonight was great! We went out to Lochee Park to watch the fireworks - like a bunch of kids!! It was great!! Really good fireworks choreographed to fantastic music!! A great night was had by all! I'm still getting used to the new camera, so not all the piccies were great! Here are a few goodies............enjoy!

I was watching an episode of Boston Legal on DVD (cos I had no telly!) and it was the episode where Alan was afraid of clowns. I too am a little disturbed by them and started a sketch which turned into this.......

I am finally back online!! Whoooooopieeeeeee!! It did give me the chance to get some work done (not much though).

Anyho I will start with this - on Friday 9th May myself and Kyla went to Edinburgh on a ghost hunt in the old underground vaults. Armed with our trusty tea lights and two cameras (wonderfully donated by Garry), off we went!

We got to Edinburgh just in the nick of time at 12.00am (Saturday) where we met other ghost hunter people (they were mostly weirdos)!! They explained all the guff about the vaults and the terrible things that happened there, after all that they let us loose!! I am not kidding you - it was pitch black!! We couldn't see a thing!! About half the way through the night the 'Scottish Ghosthunters' set up all their equipment and started some E.V.P (Electronic voice projection).

With E.V.P the idea is that you ask a question whilst the E.V.P machine is recording, then you play the tape back and hear spooky ghostlike voices from the other side!

Anyho, we did this for about an hour or so and to be honest we did pick up some very weird (and plausible) sounds, which I can say because I was there - did not come from any of the participants! All that said we had a great night! I would recommend anyone to go - just don't do what I did and drive there on Friday, stay awake all night until 6am Saturday - then drive back to Dundee without any sleep!! I was soooooooooo tired!!

Did you get any photos I hear you say? Well as a matter of fact we did. I am not saying these are ghostly images of ghouls (that was for you Kyla) or demons but they were interesting. I can only say that there was no light source other than my flash and it was a normal digital camera!!!

I'll let you decide what it is!!
